The mod adds dozens of new hairstyles for females and males. Those styles are designed mainly for humans and elves, but you can find many hairstyles for orcs and even for Khajiit race.
There are also optional files to suit your specific needs, such as slim body support and other customization options.
To change the hair on the existing character, type into the console “Showracemenu” with no spaces then press ENTER. After a second or two, your character will present in the customization menu, like in the start. What to do now is to skip to the hair selection menu to the far right. You will be able to change the hair to your liking. Once you’re done, exit the menu. The character will be in the hairstyle you set.
Be careful when you use this command. If you change your race, sex, or select a preset from the list, it will reset all your skills and perks to the starting values.
But if you want to change those properties without losing your character’s perks or skills, there is a mod that fixes that bug called Show Race Menu fix.
In case you want to use a helmet but still see your hair, there is an optional download for Apachii called Apachii Helmet Wigs that will give you a couple of wig options for both males and females.
